London Terminal Control Centre Policy

The London TMA is divided into four sectors, LAM (EGTL_LAM_CTR), BIG (EGTL_BIG_CTR), OCK (EGTL_OCK_CTR), BNN (EGTL_BNN_CTR)

Sector 26 must be opened before any of the London TMA sectors can be opened.

The LAM Sector (EGTL_LAM_CTR) is known as the "master" sector and shall be the first sector in the London TMA to be opened. When online, if there are no other sectors manned, LAM will provide a bandboxed coverage to the entire London TMA. The remaining sectors may then be opened. The order in which sectors must be opened, is as follows:

  1. LAM (EGTL_LAM_CTR)
  2. OCK (EGTL_OCK_CTR)
  3. BIG (EGTL_BIG_CTR)
  4. BNN (EGTL_BNN_CTR)

When LAM is online, he provides bandboxed coverage to the LAM, OCK, BIG and BNN areas.

When LAM and OCK are online, LAM provides bandboxed coverage to the LAM and BIG areas and OCK provides bandboxed coverage to the OCK and BNN areas.

When LAM, OCK and BIG are online, OCK provides bandboxed coverage to the OCK and BNN areas.
