Manchester TMA Policy

The Manchester TMA is divided into four sectors, NTH (EGTM_NTH_CTR), EAST (EGTM_EST_CTR), TNT (EGTM_TNT_CTR), IOM (EGTM_IOM_CTR)

Sector 11 must be opened before any of the Manchester TMA sectors are opened.

The IOM Sector (EGTL_IOM_CTR) is known as the "master" sector and shall be the first sector in the Manchester TMA to be opened. When online, if there are no other sectors manned, IOM will provide a bandboxed coverage to the entire Manchester TMA. The remaining sectors may then be opened. The order in which sectors must be opened, is as follows:

  1. IOM (EGTM_IOM_CTR)
  2. EAST (EGTM_EST_CTR)
  3. TNT (EGTM_TNT_CTR)
  4. NTH (EGTM_NTH_CTR)

When IOM is online, he provides bandboxed coverage to the IOM, EAST, TNT and NTH areas.

When IOM and EAST are online, IOM provides bandboxed coverage to the IOM and TNT areas and EAST provides bandboxed coverage to the EAST and NTH areas.

When IOM, EAST and TNT are online, EAST provides bandboxed coverage to the EAST and NTH areas.
