Dear New Member,

On behalf of the United Kingdom staff, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the United Kingdom division of IVAO. The mission of IVAO is to provide an environment for a realistic Flight and Air Traffic Control simulation via the internet, and that is certainly what you will get here in the UK Division.

In order for you to get the most out of your online experience, we have created a webpage on our website that we call "Get started in 5 easy steps!". This page will explain the basic things you need to do to get you online for your first flight or controlling session. We recommend you take a look at this webpage, you should find it incredibly useful. You will find this in the menu on the left.

Our forums can provide you with a great deal of information. We encourage you to login there and take part in the discussions. Feel free to introduce yourself in the New Members section. If you have any questions or comments, the forum is the best place to ask them. Your forum account should be automatically created for you. You need to login with your VID and WEB password. Once logged in, you can change your password and forum name through the various settings.

We have a division mailing list where regular updates about the division are sent to your email inbox. You do not have to sign up to the mailing list, but it would be in your best interest to do so, so that you can keep up to date with what is happening within the division. To subscribe to the mailing list visit the Members -> Member Services section.

The division doesn't belong to the staff, it belongs to you, the member. We always welcome any suggestions from members and members are able to make any comments they wish, good or bad. Without the opinions from the members, we wouldn't be anywhere.

Our online night is every Tuesday evening starting at 1700Z (1800BST). Come and join in the fun. It is a perfect time for you to get online and fly or control, and meet other people who share this fantastic hobby!
